Meet Our COACHES

Coach Bruno

Founder of Beastmode Volleyball, Bruno is a volleyball nerd. Growing up as a soccer fan, he eventually followed the path of his older siblings and fell in love with the sport.

As an athlete, Bruno played D1 volleyball in Cameroon for the University of Buea where he captained the team for 3 years. He graduated and moved on to play pro for Oxygen VB, Bafia VB, and PAD Volleyball. As a beach volleyball athlete, Bruno competed for the National team at multiple Beach Pro Tour events, and finished 2nd at the Continental Olympic Zonal Qualifiers.

As a coach, Bruno's philosophy is about challenging athletes to think outside the box and compete for every ball. He creates an atmosphere that fosters growth by encouraging athletes to push their limits. Bruno coaches with heart, he cares about the success of his athletes. As a result, he is constantly finding new ways to improve as a coach.

“Bruno is a coach who truly rewards hard work. He can be tough at times, but it’s always with the goal of pushing you to improve. He has taught me everything I know about volleyball. I started out never having been on a competitive team, however with his coaching, I was able to make the U18 national team as an undersized player. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his coaching."
